Book Across the Bay in Ashland, WI - On February 17th 2024, the tradition continues! Thousands of skiers will descend on Ashland, WI for the 10-km night-time ski course on the frozen Gichi Gami (Lake Superior). Local community is planning a presence there in support of the water. All ages are welcome to this event. There will be nighttime luminaries, snowshoeing, and celebrating the water. Local water protectors hope to be there to distribute material and have a presence, most likely starting art building in the morning and a popup parade at nightfall.
