Labor Day Mackinaw Annual Bridge Walk

All roads lead to the Annual Labor Day Mackinaw Bridge walk. Water protectors will be converging on the Bridge to highlight the need to protect International Waters, including all the Great Lakes.

Wear white and/or your flashiest Shut Down Line 5 wear! There will be water protectors gathering with some watery flare to share. We’ll all walk, sign, chant, dance, pass out fliers, etc. No signs on the bridge.

There will be a Light Brigade message to Shut Down Line 5. Meetup time 6:00am in St. Ignace, north side of the bridge.

For those who don’t walk to walk or aren’t able to, there will be a small group on the Mackinac City side at a stationary location passing out flier, speaking, etc.

Here is more practical information about the Annual Bridge Walk.
